The Traveler.

  She’s beauty with a splash of quirkiness. She’s exquisite in her own skin & there once was a day when she owned the style of ‘pink hair.’

  This town has become her home, but I believe that she’s made for something bigger. Something that helps her stand firm in this world of challenges & heartbreaks & happiness & love. She’s stubborn & silly. She’s love in itself & beauty on her own. She loves the simple things in life, like naming her someday children & buying random stuff & making it unique. She gives more than she receives in this beautiful world & believes that every person deserves a second chance.

 She’s venturing out, she’s exploring new horizons & finding herself. This may be a journey of love or just an adventure for her & our Daddy in Heaven to take together. She’s saying ‘goodbye’ to this town that has been her home for twelve years & opening the next chapter in her book. Life is about to take a rollercoaster & it may be tough, but nothing is too big for God to handle. Chelsea is just along for the ride.

  God has this chapter filled with a lot of doors & windows & she has no clue what will be waiting behind them, but she’s going. She’s taking that leap of faith & trusting the One that knows her heart & her desires & her loves. –He knows the desires because He’s heard her cries & heard her joyfulness as she’s expressed through her journals throughout the years.

  The years of waiting for her life to take the road that is traveled by few, is coming upon her. Chelsea has been chosen. God called out her name & placed this in her hands & watched it all unfold before His eyes. He knew that every obstacle & every adventure that has happened in her life would all lead up to this moment. He knew it. He wrote it. She’s living it.

  Chelsea loves with a love that most people would die to have. This girl, she may have a quirky dog & a silly life, but all those beautiful things lead up to the girl that is standing before us all tonight. She doesn’t get everything right the first time, but she’s not afraid to try again & live this life abundantly. She’s a girl that sings at the top of her lungs in the car & expresses herself through her words.

  She’s not simple. She’s someone that is worth your time to listen to & hear her story. Chelsea is loveliness. She’s creating something new, everyday.

Prayer.

God is the healer of broken hearts.
He's the one that mends anything back to His wonderful masterpiece.
There are times though that prayer is all we are capable of.
He holds our future in His hands, and knows the ending day.
We need to believe in the power of prayer.
We need to believe in the strong power of Our wonderful Maker of the universe.
Pray for someone in the middle of eating lunch.
Pray for someone in the middle of a food store.
Pray for someone that is struggling with something very difficult in their life.
Pray for healing in a broken family.
Pray for restoration.
Pray for strength.
Pray for the ability to say what you're truly feeling about the incredible person you have the honors of calling "Abba Father."
Pray for the homeless.
Pray for the broken.
Pray for the lost.
Pray for a friend in a difficult time.
Pray for love.
Pray for someone you don't even know by name, but God does!
Pray for this WORLD.

This may be a lot of 'prayer' for tonight, but a lot of this stuff we pass up every single day we live our lives. We forget about the homeless, the people that don't even know where their next meal is coming from. We forget about the broken....the people that are going through a hard time. We forget to think about them for a change instead of what WE want to do with our time. We forget about the hurting.

Think about them....And stop thinking about yourself for once.
Just listen for God's voice, He'll direct your path!

Angel By Your Side.

She's fighting. She's crying. She's yearning for something better.

She's believing in miracles. She's fighting the Devil. She's not giving up on her own prayers. She's never going to give up.

This beautiful girl is broken. Even in the tears and brokenness she is finding comfort in the midst of darkness.

Days pass, and she sees herself believing in a better "dream." She sees beauty in the midst of anger, and hurt.

She sees a hurting heart and longs to heal it. This girl, she believes in the power of God. She believes this is only temporary.

Friendship and love is what this girl longs for. She needs an "Angel by her side." Someone that will be there in the tough hours, and in the "easy as making Mac and Cheese" hours. She needs that light that she can't seem to find right now.

She needs a friendly hand to grab, and feel comfort. She doesn't believe God will ever fail her. He's here for the long run, and in the midst of fighting battles, He's there with His arms open wide just waiting for you to run into them.

You may not know what tomorrow holds, but God does. He knows the ending day. He sees your hurting heart and yearns to mend it back together. He's trying.

When you cry, Our Heavenly Daddy longs to wipe those tears. He's crying right along with you, because when your heart breaks so does His.

People don't always know the right words to say, they're not suppose to know everything. Trying is the best thing. Being there, and showing your concern, that's all a broken heart needs. Love.

In The Meadow.

In the Meadow is where I choose to be. Someday I'll sit there with you and cherish our time together. I'll look back on our time together as a journey of fun and laughter. I'll remember the hard times as a learning point, and I'll always believe in you. I choose the meadow. It's beautiful and lovely. I want to spend my days with you there in the meadow.

I love you.

This meadow will be ours. It'll be a place to run away to, and hide away from the world. It'll be ours. I haven't found this meadow yet, but I long to. I dream of it, and I believe that the day I find you, we'll find our perfect meadow. We'll leave our fears, and heartaches behind, and dream, and love. When marriage gets too tough, we'll always come back to this place and find comfort. We'll remember this place as the place we fell in-love, and it'll always be ours.

This is a place I've dreamt about for years, and longed to find. A place I always had in the back of my mind...lingering and longing to find. Never have I found it though. Walking through many woods, and trails, hoping this would be the time. And every time I had to wait a little longer. I'm still waiting, but I feel it closer, with every day passing. I believe that someday I'll have a place where I can just run away to with you. A place we can call our own, where it's away from the world, and it's just you and me.

Love, do I know who you are right now...maybe not. I long to know you though. I dream about you lovely. I pray for our relationship, and I know that the day our worlds collide into one, we'll make everything work. It's not going to be easy, and we'll be hit with challenges, but where's the adventure in the easy stuff?

Our whole life will be a adventurous journey.

(I wrote this on my phone sitting in "Home Goods" a couple weeks back, and just came across it again today...Yes, I get inspiration in the weirdest ways.)

Alone in a world that's so big.

I feel alone, like there is no one to turn to, so I turn to the one person I know will always listen. God. He’s here, and willing to love me.

This world is so big, so where do I fit into it all? Where is there a home for me? Life is changing just like the colors on the trees are changing. It’s becoming a new season for me, and this season is going to be a deep season of changes. A time for me to move on, and love a little more. A time for me to believe in the broken, and live in the present.

I feel broken, and lost at times, I feel alone, and I feel like the root of the problem at times. God’s love is all forgiving, but not everyone’s is.

This is a girl I know…or use to know. Someone that searched for her dreams, and fought for what she believed in. She cherished life, and held onto memories. She believed in the broken, and never let things get her down.

This is a girl that believes she’s beautiful in her own skin, and knows she’s loved in different areas of her life. She’s adored. Though this girl, she has a lot of doubts, and is not always on the same page as everyone. When she sets her mind to something it takes a lot for someone to change her opinion.

This girl wants to love. She wants to feel loved. And she wants to have a future filled with babies. She knows life doesn’t always work out as planned, or go the way she wants it to go, but it’s all in God’s plan. He knows the way to her heart, and He longs to love her. She’s searching deeply for Him.

This girl is ready to love, and believe again, she is ready to experience love first hand, and dream with all her heart. She sees the lovely world right in front of her eyes and she wants to explore it. She wants to be everything to one man someday.

This is a girl still searching for her heart, but she’s found that it’s hidden in her Heavenly Daddy. She may be alone in this world, but she will always have her one true love by her side.

Finding her way.

She’s searching to find that place she can call home. Where she can strive to be herself in this absolutely crazy life of hers. She wants to find someone that will take her as she is, who will love her even with her flaws. She wants to be accepted. She wants to find love in the deepest parts of her heart. She desires to travel this beautiful world.

She’s venturing out on a path that she’s not taking with anyone, and the people that will be there at the finish line, they’ll be her forever loves. She’s experienced her many heartaches, and found out what trusting someone feels like. She’s been challenged, and she’s found her first love again in God.

This is a crazy, authentic, beautiful, lovely, adventurous, witty, sometimes moody, and always trying to find her way kind of girl. She’s not content in being in a place for very long, she likes adventure, and road trips. She believes in love at first sight, and sees beauty in people’s love stories. This is a girl that doesn’t say, “no” to a life that’s full of adventure, and has some of the craziest dreams.

She’s fallen many times in her life, and made the wrong choices, but she knows it’s all leading up to the grand finale God has for her. She longs for a winter romance.

This girl, she’s keeping her heart guarded. She’s not letting it go so easily anymore, but she knows there will come a time when it’ll be hard to keep it hidden, because this girl…Well, she’s going to be in love someday. It’s going to be crazy, and fun, and lovely, and blissful. It’s going to be an adventure in itself.

…I’m going to find my place in this world. I’m not letting anyone stop me, because this is the journey where I’ll find myself.

There will be nights of going to my Heavenly Daddy, and asking for advice. It’s just going to be me and Him for a while. This is going to be an overwhelming, but always beautiful tale God is leading me on.

The Woman in White.

As far back as being six years old, she dreamt about being the women in white walking down the aisle to her Groom. She pictured the flowers, and the beautiful dress she would someday wear, she saw it all…well except for the Groom’s face, that for some reason was always blurred out. She would paint her own picture of what she thought he would look like, or what she wanted in a husband, but never did she actually think she would get someone like the man she is walking towards.

He’s a man that caught her eye from the moment he walked into the room, and in her eyes, he’s everything she could have ever wished for, and more. He adores her, and believes in her. He stands by her side, and encourages her. Josiah and Becca are simply perfect for each other.

Becca remembers though the nights she didn’t have someone that loved her as much as Josiah does. She didn’t have the man by her side, that she saw a family with years down the road. She had those nights of wondering where he was at the moment, but it’s was just all in God’s timing.

Now she looks back on her life, and she sees the college days, and the late nights studying, and now it’s all seems so long ago, because with having a man like Josiah to love and adore, it’s hard to remember what it was like before Josiah came into the picture. Though the memories of the childhood days are still very vivid in her mind, she can still remember dreaming of becoming a Bride someday, but as she grew older the hopes and dreams faded, and she entered the real world. She didn’t think there was such a thing as a “Prince.” She thought they only lived in the childhood books, but now on his day she is standing in front of her real, handsome, Prince of her own.

Becca is starting out of a new chapter of her life, one that will be filled with a family of her own, and bills to pay, along with daily obstacles her and Josiah will face. One thing she’ll always have though, is the remembrance and knowledge that she has Josiah there by her side through everything in the future.

Waiting at the end of the isle.

This story goes a bit differently because he is the Groom, but as this man is standing at the end of the isle, and he is looking at his beautiful bride coming towards him in all white, his mind flashes to all the memories they’ve had together, and he is taken back to the first night he met her, and the way he was mesmerized with her by just the first glance.

Now on this day he is seeing her and wondering to himself, “how did I get so lucky?” She’s absolutely beautiful in his eyes, she has been from the first time they caught each other’s eye. When he looks into her eyes, he sees love, and them being parents someday. He sees romance, and just simply being with her for the rest of his life.

I want to tell you a little bit about this love Josiah has for Becca. It’s not the kind of love you see everyday. It’s crazy, and special. It’s everlasting, and overflowing. It’s romantic, and cherishable. It’s memorable, and one of a kind. It’s incredible, and beautiful. It’s their love.

Josiah is finally hopelessly and romantically in love, because I know that from the moment he laid eyes on Becca, he saw something in her, something special, something that could only be shared with her…little did he know, that it was going to someday be everlasting love.

Josiah is starting out on a new chapter of his life. This chapter will be a bit different, and it’s going to last a lifetime. He will be sharing this chapter with his wife Becca. The two of them will challenge each other, and stand by each other when times get tough. They will be each other’s confidant, and best friend.

I hope this journey you two are venturing out on will be filled with love, laughter, babies, and romance. I also hope that you two will never get too old to just be crazy with each other, because love is being crazy together.

Her Place in This World.

She’s learned to love again, and trust people again. She had the courage to chase her dreams because she had people believing in her. She never gave up, and she always kept pushing. She fought for what she believed in, and never gave up.

This girl knew she needed to believe in her dreams again, because it had been too long for her, just sitting on the sidelines. She knows she needs to follow her heart, and not let anyone stop her.

She’s on that journey right now, of finding herself. She never realized how much was missing until she tried to find herself, and she was lost. She’s believing in her fairytales again, and she’s following her heart. She’s not going to let anyone stop her from accomplishing her dreams.

She’s also going to hide herself, and not let the world get to her. She is going to be herself, and ride this journey with God on her side. I personally know this girl is ready to take that adventure that’s been calling her name for a long time. She’s ready to jump on that horse, and experience every obstacle, as just a journey to find her real home.

She hasn’t found that spot in a long time. That spot where she just feels at home, and she’s ready to find it again. She’s longing desperately to find her place in this world. That place where she doesn’t have to be anyone but herself, and until then, she’ll be searching.

She’s not scared anymore, because God is on her side on this journey, and last time, well He wasn’t. He’s going to be her comforter, and very strong protector. He’s going to challenge her, and protect her heart, and give her an amazing ending.

Her life is nothing like she pictured it would be, but she wouldn’t trade one day for anything other than what she has right now. She is a firm believer in her dreams, and she knows that someday she’ll get that fairytale, she just has to wait for it. She needs some alone time with her Heavenly Daddy right now.

Saturday Morning.

She woke up to just a normal Saturday morning, she did her regular morning routine, and long did she know her whole world would change that day. She would meet her Prince Charming. She was going to fall in-love today.

She saw the man she loved, the one she had always loved in a way, but today was different, today she saw something different in him. It was love. It was true love, the kind she always wanted to see in his eyes. He finally loved her in the same way, he finally took her in his arms and they danced. It was what she had always dreamt, the perfect fairytale was already forming for them, they just didn’t know how amazing it would actually be. Her dream came true that day. He said the words she’s been longing to hear her whole life. “I love you, I love you with all my heart, and in a way I’ve always loved you.” Those were the words she thought about every time she looked at him, for many years.

He did it all the right ways, he went and asked her dad for permission to date his daughter, and he didn’t just ask it, he told him how much he loved his daughter, and how much he would always care for her, and never harm her. He knew it was time to fall in-love with this girl, because after all he had loved her for years. He had dreamt about her, and today it wasn’t just another dream, it had finally become real life.

He was the man that would make all her dreams come true. Because she saw it, the nights he would try his hardest at giving her everything she ever wanted. Those were the night she had to remind him that he is everything she ever wanted. She didn’t need all the money in the world, or expensive items, all she needed was his love, and that, she already had.

When she looked at him, she finally saw a life that included the both of them together, and in-love. She saw her life flash before her, the life that she had always dreamt about. A life filled with babies, and the man she had always loved by her side every step of the way. She had always believed in fairytales, but didn’t actually think she would get one so close to the movie fairytales, but I think what made it so perfect is the man that was standing by her side that day at the alter.

As she is standing in her room at the church the day of her wedding she is reminded of that Saturday morning when her whole life changed, the day she finally got the love from the man she had always loved. She looked back to every memory, and as hard as it might seem it was One year ago today that she finally got his love. To her it seemed like just yesterday that her dream became a real life fairytale.

She may not have all the expensive things in the world, but she has the love from a man that means everything to her. When she heard those Three simple but so strong words said..”I love you!” that day of her wedding, she knew it was something very special, and she finally knew that the wait, yeah it was worth it!

As she looks into his eyes, while saying her written vows to him, she is reminded of the time they danced. It may not seem like anything special to anyone else but to them it was the first time they said “I love you” to each other. It was also the night he asked if she would like to spend forever with him. That was a night she will forever remember. He is not only her Prince Charming but, also her dream come true.

She sees all of this on the day of her wedding. While standing by the man she will forever love. The man she has always loved.

The Fairytale worth waiting for!

Someday soon he will find his perfect love. He will have that smile on his face that never seems to leave when she is mentioned or in the room. He deserves the best girl in the world, because he will treat her like a Princess, I just know it! He will love and protect her with everything in him. If she asked for the world, he would try his hardest to get it for her.

He may not know exactly what he wants now, but someday God will bring the fairytale that he’s waited his whole life for, and He will show him the girl he’s waited for. God will bless him for the choices he’s made right now in his life, and the challenges he will face later on in his life.

You may wonder why God is putting all these hard choices in your life right now, but they are just shaping you up for the bigger challenges that lie ahead. You will someday find out that all along you made the right choices, they may be hard to face right now but—everything happens for a reason!

God is writing your love story right now, and I realized that when you would look at me and I would see longing, for love. Someday soon the right girl will walk into your life and love you forever. She will adore you, and give you all the care you need.

I will always be here, but not taking the spot of your wife. God wants us to be friends, so that is what I’m going to be for you! I will be here for hugs, smiles, advice, listening, and anything else you need me for. You are an amazing guy, and I’m looking forward to what God has in store for you.

I’ll be watching on the sidelines, waiting for the day we both fall in-love with the people we are waiting for. That’ll be an exciting day, filled with smiles, and happiness. Right now though..we wait! We wait for that perfect love God is someday going to give us, that perfect smile that will always put a smile on our faces, the ones that you don’t have to try hard to put on, they will just come without you even knowing it.

Fairytales that little girls believe in.

They’re in every children’s book, they let little girls believe in being the princess for a day. Even little boys get to be the amazing prince that comes and rescues the princess, and becomes the hero! These stories let you be someone else. They let you believe in things that are not real.

Have you noticed how every movie ends with the guy getting the girl? Even if you know how the movie is going to end you still sit down and watch it because they’re always different from the other one. They have you believing in love stories. Don’t get me wrong I am a strong believer in love stories! I know that someday I will get that perfect man. He may not come up on a white horse or capture me from the evil step mother but he will be my prince. He will be the one I love forever.

I don’t think girls ever stop believing in fairytales. They might say they don’t believe in them anymore, but inside they still truly believe that their prince will someday come and love them forever. It’s like a dream that you never want to wake up from. Have you ever had a dream like that? A dream where, your prince charming is asking for your hand in marriage. He does it all the right ways. He goes to your dad first and asks permission. Then, he comes to you and gets down on one knee and asks if you want to spend forever with him.

Never stop believing! Someday your prince will come. He may not be on a white horse but I can guarantee he will love you for the rest of eternity! Just give him a chance to come. I know that he is just as eager to spend forever with you just like you are with him!

It may not be real life but…it’s a fairytale!

lost.

People get lost everyday and when they get lost they normally stray away from God in the process. I’ve done it before. I’ve gotten so caught up in myself and worrying about fixing my problem, that I have forgotten to let God in and help me.

Be the one that walks with God and shows other people that you are one of God’s children. Be the example that people need, to get through the day.

..To be lost is like to be suffering but in a different pain.

Two Worlds Collide.

It all started with the 3 simple words that changed her whole life… ”I love you!” The day those words were said was the day she knew he was her forever. She no longer had to have fear of where he was, or what he looked like because she was in his arms that night. She was finally being loved by the person she had dreamt about for years, the one that would have her heart from that day on till the end of times. Their love may have not meant anything to the people around them, but to the two of them, it meant the entire world.

They waited and hoped for the day they would met, there were days they thought that day would never come for them, that they would never get that perfect love story that everyone around them already had, but because they waited, they didn’t just get any old love story, they got a God Written Love Story.

The day she laid in his arms, she felt like there wasn’t anything other than the two of them in the whole world. That’s what she had waited for her whole life. A man to love her, but it couldn’t be just ANY man it had to be the right man. She was not going to settle for anything less than perfect, even if she had to wait her whole life for him to come, she would because she knew in the end, she’d have the world with him by her side.

She loves him, and she adores him. And this fairytale isn’t one you could compare the movie fairytales to, because she thinks it’s better than any love story ever told, because it’s her own! It’s the one she’s dreamt about for years, the one she’s went to sleep dreaming about since she was very little. And it’s all finally become real to her.

The waiting journey she took on her own for all those years, and the many times she wanted to give up…she now knows that it was all worth it. She can see that she wasn’t alone in the waiting process because her husband was waiting also, there were nights he went to sleep thinking about when the wait would finally be over, and what she would look like. He was waiting with her, she just never knew it till now.

While they now have rings on their fingers, and a promise to each other saying they will spend forever together, and that their love will never die, they look into each others eyes, and see a family with many children, and a life that isn’t always perfect, but by the end of everyday they still love each other with the same kind of love they had the very first day those 3 simple words were said… “I Love You!”

Sweetheart, when I think of you, and the day I finally meet you, this is what comes to mind. This may all be a dream right now, but I know someday it will become a real life fairytale! I love you.

Waiting for the love story God has for you.

Waiting can be hard. Waiting for that perfect guy to come into your life will be a struggle, because everything in your young life involves liking guys. You just have to agree to put those feelings aside and wait. There are not many people out there waiting for their Prince or Princess, so when you find someone like that hold on and don’t let go. Even if you are just their friend it’s better than nothing.

Someday you will be happy you waited for the love story you always knew would come. You will be blessed with someone that adores you someday, but right now you just have to play the waiting game for a little while. It may not seem like the easiest thing right now but in the long run it will be worth it. The day your Prince walks into your life will be the day you will get those butterflies that seem to never go away, and it will be the day you thank God for telling you to wait. God is always right about everything, but most importantly He is right about waiting.

Never fear that your Prince or Princess is not out there, they are and you may have already seen them but you just won’t know it for a couple years. Wait, it’s the best thing you will do in your life. Not only will you love it but, your someday spouse will love it also, because the day you say to him, “I’ve waited for you, not only by my actions but also by my daily life as well.” It will be the day that he knows, “man I’m really going to spend forever with this girl!”

It will be worth it. I know it might not seem like it right now but it will be! The person you someday marry will love you even more for waiting for them in every kind of way. I know that my love story is coming, I don’t know when I will finally start my journey to finding him or if I already have started it, but I do know that when the time is right God will show me him.

The day I see him and realize he is my forever will be the day all the butterflies and happiness comes rushing in. I can’t wait for the day my world turns upside down. I know that my husband is waiting also, I don't know who he is but I know that the day he walks into my life he will tell me that he waited a long time for me to come, so he could love me for the rest of eternity! That is why I picked waiting!

waiting might seem like a really hard thing but if you have people waiting with you then it won't be as hard. Your love story will be even better when God writes it for you instead of you "trying" to write it yourself. God is the creator of all love stories so let Him write it for you! He will not let you down, you will be blown away with how amazing you story is, and how is was worth the long wait.

The hearts that matter.

Every child in this World matters. Some people don’t take the time to see it but they are the most important things in this World. Their little hearts are beating after just 18 days of being conceived. To some people it means nothing but it should! What if your parents didn’t want you? You’re here on this Earth because your parents decided to keep you, it might not have been the right time when they conceived you but they choose life instead of death.

That little heart matters to me. I hope to someday have a child of my own that I can raise up to be a leader of God! The babies might not have voices but they do have opinions, they would like a chance at life. They would like to show you how to love, if you would just give them a chance. I know it might be hard to picture your life with a child in it but everything happens for a reason. God chose you to be the person everyone looks at with amazement, He chose you to be the one that shows everyone that you can be a World changer with a baby on your hip.

When I see teenagers with children I don’t look at them with anger, I look at them with gratefulness, because I know that it was probably a very hard decision to keep that child but they did it because they did not want to be like everyone else that aborts their child and tries to move on with their life. Not only are you hurting yourself, you are hurting the people around you that use to look to you as a leader.

Do you choose life?! It may be hard to raise up a child right now and it might not have been in your life plan but things change. God chose you to be a leader, because at least one person will catch on and follow what you are doing!

Does that little heart matter to you? Think about it next time, it only takes 18 days for it to start beating!

Life goes on...

Life goes by without you even knowing it sometimes. The dreams and desires you have that you want to do in life sometimes get taken away because you didn’t jump at the chance when it was right in front of you. You’ve got to believe in the un-spoken and take that journey when it is calling your name loud and clear!

Be the dreamer you have always wanted to be. Show people who a true Jesus leader really is. Believe in the un-spoken and before you know it you will have a crowd of people behind you following.

Know that just because some people are too scared to follow their dreams does not mean you have to sit on the sidelines watching your life go by. You don’t get the chance everyday to become a Writer or a Musician, so when life is calling at you, take it and don’t be afraid or scared of what people might think. They are not the people that matter! The only opinion that matters is God’s and if you are doing what He called you to do then life only begins from here.

I will never be afraid of accomplishing my dreams ever again, I had a fear of what people would think when they found out I wanted to become this well known Author, but I finally stopped caring and did not let my life go on without me anymore. I saw all these people that I grew up with growing up and having their own families. I finally told myself to stop being scared, I looked to the people that mattered for guidance and they lead me here.

Never again be scared of accomplishing your dreams, they are worth living. Believe me! God showed me the path and I followed, sometimes you need to be the follower not the leader.

Life goes on but….when are you finally going to take you life in your own hands?
